Block Printing

5pm with Annalee Wood Art & her Mom Lauri Storey!

Join Annalee Wood and Lauri Storey (my amazing mom) for an evening of creative fun!

We will be carving a linoleum block to reveal a flower and then rolling on ink to print by hand.  Choose one of three different flowers, learn the skills you need to carve, print, and then come away from class with your carved block and four finished prints.  Try your hand at unique print techniques such as chine-colle which layers handmade translucent paper to add texture and color.  The class will be Saturday, May 8 at 5 pm- 8 pm at the @jenibeemarket Mother’s Day Market.  Downeast Millcreek, 2330 E 3300 S, Salt Lake City, UT.  The class costs $60, and will include detailed instruction, a linoleum block, ink, four prints, and one frame (to give to your loved one, or keep for yourself).  Choose one of three designs: tulip, ranunculus, or poppy. Head over to (link in bio) to purchase your admission.  This is a small, socially-distanced, and safely masked class, so snag your ticket quickly- spots will fill up fast.
